Secret Shopper Assignment

Here is yet another example of the job opening scam. This is a prim example of why you should always apply for jobs through accredited work search sites, or directly through the company's website. For this I modified my usual reply:

Unfortunately due to the amount of scam emails I receive per week, I do not give out info without via email. If you would kindly send me a link to your web site I well gladly apply there.

I have never receive a second email from these guys. If a company is emailing you, requiting your information, so you can take advantage of a job opening, and they do not have a website, this should be a red flag. Why would they email you if they don't have a website. Yes it could be a real opportunity, however if it is, they will at least give you a number to call. The biggest thing to remember with those, is you r search engine. Look up the company. It the very least you should be able to find the company in the Better Business Bureau.
